CDAC

Centre for development of Advanced computing (C-DAC) is a national initiative of the department of information technology, ministry of communications and information technology. Since its inception in the year 1988, C- DAC has pioneered the development of High performance computing.

The resource base has been realized in the form of an expert team with specialized knowledge of various facets of advanced computing. With this C-DAC has set up the Advance computing training School (ACTS) to meet the ever-increasing skilled manpower requirements of the IT Industry.

C-DAC is the first Government Lab that has expanded it horizons globally extending its high quality training services through ACTS to countries like Mauritius, Ghana, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Dubai and Japan. Selection Process:

The selection Process is a three-stage procedure leading to a confirmed admission. Firstly, all the applicants shall have to appear for an online national level Common Entrance Test(CET), conducted all across India at C-DAC’s Centers. Secondly, after clearing the Common Entrance Test, the candidates has to appear for the Stage II ie the practical test which will be conducted online at the center after declaration of the CET result. Thirdly after clearing the practical test, the candidate has to appear for the technical and personal interview on the same day. Finally, after clearing all the three stages the candidate will get a confirmed admission to that particular centre.
